With "Archipels d'Aurum", Aurum Ceramics created a mix between earthenware (plain colour, enamelled or metallic) and metallic micro-mosaic arranged in a random way. Those pieces are arranged together in order to create a new tile in one size. The metallic micro-mosaic flows free through the earthenware and is inlaid with it forming meanders. A new tile. A new product.
"Archipels d'Aurum" can be arranged, mixed and lined up according to one's own desire. The unusual shape of metallic mosaic within the earthenware creates the difference.
"Archipels" and "Iles" d'Aurum references 11, 12, 13: inlay where earthenware and mosaic are partners. Composition with several Archipels and Îles tiles.
Archipels & Îles tiles are treated using Aurum's patented process — superior mechanical and chemical resistance to traditional gilding methods. Compliant with NF EN 176 standard for interior wall use.
